Afterward, enjoy a wine tasting at the Phillip Island Winery. The winery is set in a beautiful rural location with views over Bass Strait and Berry’s Beach. Enjoy a personalized guided tour and indulge in the tastes of various cheeses and other local products including olives, olive oils, honey, chutney and cherries to match the locally produced wines.
Continue to the southwestern tip of the island to enjoy panoramic views of the Nobbies, a group of rugged rocks rising from the sea, and Seal Rocks, the home of Australia's largest fur seals population.
At dusk every evening the world's smallest penguins waddle ashore after spending the day fishing out at sea. You will be seated in the main viewing area to watch the parade of waddling penguins. To make this experience even more unforgettable, upgrade to either the Penguins Plus or the Private Penguin Parade Experience. See below for more details.
Please note: As of April 1, 2017 you will visit Brighton Beach bathing boxes on the journey out of Melbourne for approximately 30-minutes. You will also enjoy an extended stay at Moonlit Sanctuary for the daily 'Conservation in Action' wildlife show; a 30-minute experience which provides insight into lesser-known native species including the spotted quoll, the dingo, the tawny frogmouth and the barking owl. This was a fantastic tour! Dave was great and very entertaining. We loved the opportunity to feed the kangaroos and wallabies. The winery was fun and had great snacks. The highlight of course was the penguin parade and that was so much fun. I wish I had known ahead of time that we weren't allowed to take pictures of the actual event, but it also allowed me to just watch and appreciate. I loved the small group and think it's a much more pleasant experience than in a large, impersonal group.
