Your tour continues at the world-famous Trevi Fountain. The Trevi Fountain is a magnificent example of baroque art. Its dramatic, natural lines and fantastical creatures embody movement and inspire a sense of triumph. As your guide will tell you, tradition says that if you throw a coin over your shoulder into the fountain, then you will eventually return to Rome. Toss in a penny, and cross your fingers!
Next visit the Pantheon (meaning temple of 'all the gods'), which was originally built as a temple to the seven deities in the state religion of Ancient Rome. The Pantheon is the biggest brick dome in the history of architecture and is considered the forerunner of all modern places of worship. It is the most copied and imitated of all ancient works.

Phillip was our guide and he was excellent! By booking this tour for one of the early morning slots we avoided lots of crowds and strong midday heat.
