Find a comfortable seating place in the mid-deck or the shade of the aft deck as you commence your cruise from the new marina of Albufeira. You have the choice of a half day cruise visiting the caves on the spectacular Algarve coastline or a 2-hour Captain Hook cruise. On both itineraries it is possible to view dolphins from the boat or even take a swim!

  • Close encounter with friendly dolphins
  • Travel by boat and see the sights from the water
Half Day Cruise with Caves - 3.5 hours
Cruise into the Atlantic, as the sails are set as you head westward along the cliffs and sandy beaches of San Rafael, Castelo and Praia da Gale. Pass the fisherman's village of Armacao de Pera, the rock chapel Senhora da Rocha and reach the beaches of Marina and Benagil.

You will stop for free time to try your hand at fishing, visit the caves or have a swim in the warm, clear water. You may prefer to relax on deck with a drink from the "Pirate Bar" which offers a variety of beverages (beer, water and soft drinks). Returning to the Albufeira, keep your eyes open on the lookout for dolphins which will sometimes swim near to the boat.

Captain Hook Cruise - 2 hours
Cruise into the Atlantic under motor and head westward along the cliffs and sandy beaches of San Rafael, Castelo and Praia da Gale. All eyes are on the ocean surface in search of the friendly local dolphins. A short stop will be made to allow time for a quick swim before setting sail for the return trip to Albufeira.

Viator got this right again going to the meeting point at the marina is great , lunch and a drink before the trip , lots to do and see there also the staff for check in were good.
The boat did come in a bit late so we waited for 30 minutes I had a word about it and got complimentary drinks , although it was fine as we still got the full 2 hour trip .
The boat is fun authentic enough and although not huge it was not over booked so plenty of room to move .
We set out to the cliffs and caves under steam power but then switched to sail that was very nice and relaxing , we then anchored up and the brave dived/jumped into the freezing water I was one of them
We then headed back under steam and enjoyed drinks from the very reasonable bar , two of my guests had never done such a trip and they love it , my daughter a hardy ship mate also really enjoyed it , as did I
