Very helpful staff. Tour guide was knowledgeable. A lovely way to see Kyoto when you don't have a lot of time.

Great organized tour. They always had someone making sure you were taken care of from hotelnpickup to transfer to the train station to getting everyone on the train, meeting the train at Kyoto to lunch to the local guide. The only issue was getting everyone back in the train to go back to Tokyo.

Very well organized, pick up at local hotel bullet train tickets at the ready... escorted to the train to ensure you get in at the right carriage, the night has to be the 2.15min on the train seeing the lay of the land... no delays as the bullet had its own dedicated line... either over a road or under no crossing.. well and truly worth the price for the whole day out. Here again, a superb tour, well organized from the hotel pickup back to the hotel...Nothing left to chance! You will not get lost....
I would recommend only the visit of other temples than the ones we saw. Overall, a great time.

Fantastic tour! I was the only person going from Tokyo that day. I was met at my hotel and then at the transfer bus station by my own private guide. She got me onto the bullet train and didn't leave until it took off. Then, in Kyoto, when the doors of my car opened, another guide was waiting for me to take to to an excellent, excellent lunch at a nearby hotel. Then, yet another guide got me to a city tour where there were other travelers and we saw the major sites of Kyoto. Then, the process was reversed to get me home. I felt pampered, safe and I had a great time. So glad I did this tour!

While not inexpensive this was a great experience. We were amazed with the level of detail and attention provided by the tour operator beginning with hotel pickup, literally walking us onto the train, meet and greet at the other end with lunch, half day bus tour merged with other groups which was probably the best the operator could have offered though not as efficient, then literally walking us back on to the train, and meet and greet and return to our hotel end of day.
