Boston in One Day Sightseeing Tour
Start with a drive by comfortable coach to the nearby town of Lexington, where you’ll stop to visit historic Harvard Square at Harvard University and the Lexington Battle Green (formally Lexington Common), the site of the first shots of the American Revolutionary War. Your guide will entertain you with historical anecdotes as you obverse this US National Historic Landmark.
Next, head to the town of Concord to see the Battle Road Trail, the route that Paul Revere took when he warned the Minutemen about the oncoming of British troops. You’ll also see the homes of novelist Louisa May Alcott and essayist and poet Ralph Waldo Emerson, and stop by the notable Old North Bridge.
Back in Boston, start your afternoon with 1.5 hours of free time at the Faneuil Hall Marketplace (Quincy Market) to explore, shop and have lunch on your own. Then, hop back on the bus and begin your narrated sightseeing tour of Boston.
View Beacon Hill’s 18th-century steeples and stately townhouses and explore the West End and North End neighborhoods. See the New England Aquarium from the outside, cruise through the Seaport District, view the site of the Boston Massacre, and stop to visit the USS Constitution, a wooden-hulled, masted ship named by President George Washington after the US Constitution. This is the world's oldest commissioned naval vessel still afloat!
See below for a full list of sights seen on your Boston sightseeing tour. At the end of the day, you’ll be taken back to your original departure point with a whole new appreciation for Boston.

Boston and one day sightseeing tour is great. It is along day of sightseeing, however nothing could be cut from the tour. We had a one hour lunch break and Quincy market. Our tour guide recommended some fabulous restaurants there. He was born and raised in Boston and his passion shown through and his tour. He gave us insight into the city that only a local would know. This is a fantastic tour if you have limited time in Boston.

We booked this tour for our second day while staying in Boston. We booked it through the Viator website listed. It was painless.
This tour is a full 7 hours including stops and lunch and can run over so long as everyone is in agreement due to traffic.
Frankie was our tour guide bus driver and he is very knowledgeable and funny cracking jokes along the way. The bus is a large enclosed coach with AC and nice comfy seats. The audio system in the bus is very good and easy to hear. There is also a washroom on the bus but I'd likely only use it in emergency. There are plenty of stops to get out and use washrooms.
The tour is very long but didn't seem long. We had a couple of unforeseen hiccups that caused unusual traffic but Frankie kept us mostly on time of course with everyone's consent.
We had a wonderful day and enjoyed the tour immensely!
One recommendation I would give, is sit on the right side of the bus!! About 90 of the sites pointed out come up on the right and our bus was fairly full. Although we did get to see most of the sights, it would have been better sitting on the right side instead of the left.
