With its green fields and historical waterfront houses, Thames Valley is an idyllic example of English countryside. Cycle through quaint English villages and soak up the scenery before a refreshment stop at Dorney Court, a Tudor mansion set amid acres of parkland and landscaped gardens.
Feeling rested, continue on to Dorney Lake, a stretch of water that was used in the 2012 Olympics. Hear how Prince Harry honed his rowing techniques on the lake, and learn of the excitement around the time of the Olympics, when the venue hosted thousands of spectators to see rowing and kayaking events.
Pedal back along the traffic-free banks of the Thames River and come face-to-face with a majestic riverside view of Windsor Castle. During a brief stop, listen to fun facts about the royal monument’s history — from its beginnings as a Norman fort through to the present day home of Her Majesty the Queen—and pose for photos with the castle as your backdrop.
From the river, swing past Eton College, where many of Britain’s prime ministers were educated, and then return to central Windsor. Your tour finishes within an easy walking distance of Windsor Castle and the train station.

Amazing experience. Loved our guide, she was experienced, happy and full of energy. We where a small group of only 3 people and we got the full experience. Not hard to ride the bikes, and we saw beautiful places. Highly recommend this trip for everyone, especially if you stay in London, great to get away from many people and the stressful city! Recommend it for everyone!

Our guide Patricia was great! Well worth adventuring on the tube and trains to get yourself to and fro to the meeting spot. Forgot to ask the distance that was actually biked, but would guess it was an easy 10-15 km on mostly good paths.
