Fantastic tour! Our tour guide Nicolas was wonderful! He spoke perfect English and gave us so much history of Rome. It was fascinating. And the skip the line is definitely the way to go. We really enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to learn the history of this amazing ancient city.

We had been to the Colosseum years before but are so pleased that we did a tour this time. The commentary was fascinating! Great tour guide, great tour
The only thing we would recommend is to take the lift rather than steep stairs if you have mobility issues

We were 2 minutes late for our booked 9.30 am tour and so missed it. However, we were simply slotted on to to the next tour at 10.00 without any issues. We did skip the line and actually ended up going through one of the less used entrances. Our female guide Raffa was superb and highly informative and also very considerate of the group members.
I strongly recommend this tour.

The half-day walking tour of ancient Rome and the Colosseum is a must do event. Alessandro was a great guide with a formal background in history and great depth of knowledge. We covered things in greater detail than we anticipated and thoroughly enjoyed it. We moved at a good pace without rushing...with very entertaining commentary by Alessandro. You will love this tou!

If you get the chance to do this tour with the purple fishour guide you will be extremely lucky. She had so much energy to keep the tour and your time extremely enjoyable. We did several tours during our trip, and this one with the extra addition of seeing below the arena and above the third floor is a must
