When you arrive the Columbia River Gorge, hop on your bike and follow your guide on an easy, 10-mile (16-km) ride along gentle hills. This ride will give you a sense of what it was like to travel along the country’s first National Scenic Highway.
You’ll make several stops at waterfalls to embark on short nature hikes, where you’ll feel the cool, pulsing mist of water from amidst the lush green forest. Keep an eye out for native birds such as osprey and bald eagles.
Small snacks are available throughout your tour, and you may also bring food and drinks with you aboard the van. After soaking in the Pacific Northwest’s famous natural landscapes, you’ll be taken back to Portland.

What an incredible day! Easy road riding, beautiful waterfalls and short, easy hikes. Great tour for all levels and the bike shop has anything you could possibly need. Our guide was EXTREMELY knowledgeable about Oregon I think his name was Evan? and told many great stories. We went during a storm, it rained the entire day, the bike shop provides ponchos, but I was extra prepared with water resistant clothing head to toe... the complete upside to riding in the rain was that the waterfalls were extra full, roaring and majestic!!!

We really enjoyed the bike and hike tour. I waited too long to review the trip so unfortunately I don't remember the man's name who took us on a tour, but he did a wonderful job on explaining the ins and outs of the waterfalls and Portland trivia.
