This was a nice overview of the places visited, but I certainly wouldn't say that it was a thorough visit. We certainly enjoyed our tour, and Elisa was WONDERFUL, but we do wish we had been able to enjoy more time in these locations. This is why I say it's a nice overview. Also, it was a nice way to see the places without having our own transportation. The lunch at the farm was tasty, and seconds were offered. When we visited, the weather was AMAZING, so I would have loved to have been able to sit in the grass and enjoy a glass or two more of wine, but I understand that this wasn't the purpose of the tour. Lots of activity was packed into the day, and we enjoyed it. If you're looking for a relaxing, enjoyable day, this wouldn't be for you. I would book again.

Great tour, especially the guides (both on the bus and during the walking tour of Sienna). Definitely recommend. Lunch at the farm with wine was great too.

Sandra was an amazing guide actually works for Walk About who Viator outsourced this tour. She spoke great English, knew all her stuff, was funny and really cared that we got our money's worth. Lot's of walking and this was nearly 8 hours...so be ready for a GREAT long day.

Walkabout Tours did an incredible job at organising the day. From the first time we met our guide Eliza outside the train station in the early morning to the time we were dropped off in the evening, Eliza was friendly, always smiling, funny and extremely knowledgeable. The tour to Sienna where we had a separate guide was really good as well. We got to visit places which we wouldn't have seen if we hadn't gone on this tour. San Gimignano was another stop which my friend and I really enjoyed. Even though it was absolutely freezing that day with strong winds/rain/hail/snow, the countryside was absolutely beautiful! Lunch was on a farm and it was simple, but food was cooked well and they offered second helpings to people who wanted more. We also had 4 different wines with lunch which were really nice. From there, we went to the town and had quite a bit of time to explore on our own. Most of the shops were closed as it was Winter but there were enough open so my friend and I could still buy a few food items and souvenirs. Pisa was our next stop where we arrived as the sun was going down. I think only 2 people chose to climb the tower. The rest of us just wandered around and took photos, and then we were on our way back to Florence! It was a long day, but organised well and our guide Eliza was outstanding! She kept us entertained all the time and was extremely informative. I would highly recommend this tour.
