Excellent Tour from start to finish. We were collected from our hotel, even though it was not on the official list and taken to depot to get tour bus. Very efficient and everything ran like clock work. Fantastic guide, who entertained us with information on the Japanese culture, foods, language and writing through the 2 hour journey to the first stop on Mount Fuji. We had plenty of time to take pictures, before moving on to a lake side view, lunch a lake cruise and cable car up another mountain for spectacular views and finished with the bullet train. The guide was with us for the whole trip including the train, providing information on where to get off and how to find our way back to our hotel. I should also mention the lunch, which was a traditional Japanese meal, and excellent. we were very fortunate with the weather, but it is worth checking the long term forecast for Mount Fuji as there are many days when the view is more restricted. Through the day we had bright sun shine, sleet and snow so would suggest bringing layers. The trip was good value and I would highly recommend it even if you only do one trip from Tokyo.

Wow! What a great way to spend the day outside of the city. Traditional Japanese lunch was superb! Seeing Mount Fuji from the lake was nice. I was disappointed the gates were closed going to Station 5, so we only viewed Mount Fuji from Station 1 snow halted our progression, so no fault to anyone. Everything was well timed throughout the day. The guide spoke English well. And the Shinkansen high speed bullet train...FANTASTIC!! I definitely recommend this tour and taking the train back to Tokyo. I really appreciated that the tour guide went out of her way to make sure I got on the correct train from Tokyo Station.

It was our first trip to Japan and although I'm a seasoned traveller, wanted the comfort of an experienced guide as I was travelling with my children. The local tour operator was very efficient and our guide Nato was fantastic. He was funny, teaching us a Japanese song he learnt at school, showed us how to make an origami samuri helmet to help us relax on the journey to Mt Fuji and telling us about local customs, religion and other bits of Japanese information. Due to the weather, we could only get up to the 1st station, but it was still beautiful. We stopped at a nearby lakeside which offered specatular views of the mountain. I was unsure of whether to book the tour including lunch, as my kids are very fussy eaters. It was worth it to see their faces when we entered the restaurant to see the meal laid out. We had a few giggles at wondering what to do and how to eat it!. Ramen, tempura, tofu plenty to try and it was delicious. The short cruise on Lake Ashi was great as was the cablecar up Mt Komagatate. The kids enjoyed a snowball fight at the top. I thoroughly recommend the tour to anyone visiting Tokyo as it was great to get out the city to see the lakes and mountains.

Inage-San was an excellent guide such a lovely guy and really made me laugh - I can't really overstate what a bargain this is they pack so much in to one day but it's still quite chilled - you need to take your camera as there are so many great shots to take - I thought and thought about whether I would do this or not but I'm so glad I did as it was an excellent day
