I booked this pretty last minute and it was so well worth it. Our guide Ben Big Ben was very good. Very likable, knowledgeable and overall a great conversationalist.
he gave a lot of background and information to help set the scene. I would highly recommend this tour.
I did the 9:00 A.M tour worked out perfectly. We were able to be some of the first through the doors and avoid the crowds. Although we had skip the line passes, it was still great to be ahead of the crowds and enjoy the views without much fuss.

We are really glad we signed up for a tour of Versailles rather than trying to visit on our own. Our tour guide was not only extrememly knowledgable, but she was engaging and entertaining. Well worth the cost. The tour guide meets you at a metro stop and then takes the metro in to Versailles with you. The gardens are enourmous and of course, beautiful Our guide walked with us around the gardens and pointed out various places of interest. We then went to the house and were given an headsets for an audio tour and toured the house on our own. We would not recommend the optional tours for 15 euros. One of the buildings was closed and we were not told this before we bought our tickets.

Loved this tour. Janika from Fat Tire tours was amazing. She knew her stuff and made everything easy for us.

This trip was excellent! The tour guide was a bit over talkative but very informative on his history! Meeting place was designated and train ride was short! The Palace was FABULOUS!

Tour guide Karen from Chicago Karen was awesome...best part was the Royal Gardens...and the self guided portion of the Palace was great...you could take all the time you wanted...and for sure grab a sandwich and drink to take into the garden for lunch!!!
