After pickup from your Melbourne hotel, travel by comfortable coach about one hour to the charming seaside town of Mornington, gateway to the peninsula. You’ll have time to see the grand old buildings along Main Street and perhaps pop into the shops and sidewalk cafes or a short walk and photo ops on the beach.

From Mornington, you’ll drive to The Cups Estate, an Estate created in 1999 by Joe and Carmen Fisicaro with the idea of sharing their unique property and the wine it produces with others. While here you'll sample an extensive range of hand crafted cool climate wines accompanied with estate grown olives, olive oil and bread with grape vines and olive trees providing a picture perfect background for your tasting.

After your tasting, you’ll reboard your coach and head to Flinders, a small town that has retained its historic charm. Whilst here you can immerse yourself in the delicate aroma of chocolate as you enter the impressive atelier of Mornington Peninsula Chocolates for a tasting.

From here, enjoy a delicious bakery cafe lunch with a drink in a rustic and charming setting at local favorite Flinders Bakehouse Cafe. On your way from Flinders visit the lookout where you’ll get panoramic views of Bass Strait and a scenic drive through Flinders Golf Course with breathtaking ocean views.

Stop briefly at Mock Red Hill for a cider and produce tasting consisting of freeze-dried fruist and chocolate before venturing inland to Sunnyridge Strawberry farm, Australia's largest strawberry producer. You can choose to pick fresh strawberries to take home, visit the gift shop where you can find locally made jam, honey, cider, wine and pottery, or grab a coffee and dessert at the cafe (own expense).

After refueling on the farm, you’ll drive to Arthur's Seat, the highest point on the peninsula, with sweeping views over Port Phillip Bay. You also have the choice to upgrade your day-trip to include the Peninsula Hot Springs Bath House where you will have access to over 20 pools.

Stretch your legs and snap some pics before returning to Melbourne.

This daytrip was a definite highlight. We had a great commentary on the way down to Mornington Peninsula and a general tour around Mornington, driving through some of the quaint little towns and stopping at SCHNAPPER POINT, which was absolutely beautiful. We saw the Bathing boxes on the beach.
We chose the option to visit the HOT SPRINGS. Our stay was for about 2.5 hours and we enjoyed every minute. There are so many hot springs to visit and a sauna if time permits. Trying to experience all of them in the time was a challenge but so much fun and luxurious to boot!!!
We then visited SUNNY RIDGE STRAWBERRY FARM. Picking our own strawberries was heaps of fun and gettint to eat them, once washed, was areal treat. They were delicious. We also sampled and purchased some of the wine there. We also sampled and purchased some relishes. I could have spent a lot more time there. They had a lovely cafe and this was the best shop we visited, while in Melbourne,
for local qauint and tasty gifts.
We also visited ARTHURS SEAT which gave us panoramic views over the bay.
This wet our appetite for the area and next time we visit Melbourne we will try and stay longer in the Mornington area. FABULOUS TOUR.
