Your cooking experts will demonstrate how to prepare classic New Orleans specialties such as gumbo, jambalaya and pralines, and will season them with history, trivia and tall tales. Learn the basics of Louisiana cooking and discover the array of spices used in this unique cuisine.
Enjoy generous samplings of the demonstrated items, as well as complimentary coffee, iced tea and beer. At the end of the class, take home the recipes to show off your new skills to your friends and family!

Learn the Secrets of New Orleans Cooking in the Demonstration Class
- New Orleans cooking demonstration class
- Generous sampling of all items

- Hotel pickup and drop-off
- Confirmation will be received at time of booking, unless you are booking within 14 days of tour date. In this case, confirmation will be received within 48 hours, subject to availability.
- Please note: This is a demonstration class only; there is no hands-on training
- Bookings can only be made up to 3 months in advance of preferred date

Monday: gumbo, red beans and rice, pecan pie and pralines
Tuesday: gumbo, jambalaya, bananas foster and pralines
Wednesday: gumbo, jambalaya, bread pudding and pralines
Thursday: corn and crab bisque, shrimp Creole, bananas foster and pralines
Friday: shrimp and artichoke soup, crawfish etouffée, bread pudding and pralines
Saturday: gumbo, jambalaya, bread pudding and pralines
Sunday: gumbo, jambalaya, bread pudding and pralines
Monday: gumbo, jambalaya and pralines
Tuesday: corn and crab bisque, chicken etouffée and pralines

What a great way to enjoy your food!!!, This was a special Birthday gift for my husband. He could not stop laughing. Chef Ken and his team were fantastic!!!. The information given about the food, cooking guide and shopping was well worth the monies spend for the class.

We had a fantastic time ,the food was very tasty ,the classes were great and the chef " Rock ". He was very entertaining and the food came out easy and delish .Great idea to do something different in NOLA. I would recommended it. We did the early class , we got an early start and that was a good idea.
