Your dolphin swim begins with an educational introduction presented by expert dolphin trainers. You'll learn fascinating facts about these amazing creatures and receive important safety instructions for your dolphin encounter - a must for a truly pleasurable experience.
All participants in the dolphin swim must wear life jackets (provided) to float freely on the surface, allowing the dolphins to come much closer. A maximum of 10 participants and two dolphins take part in each session, ensuring a truly personal encounter!
Are you a true dolphin lover? Want to spend even more time with these fascinating animals? Upgrade to the Royal Dolphin Swim and you'll spend a full hour in the water with the dolphins! First, you'll spend 30 minutes in the deep water area, followed by another 30 minutes in the beach area, allowing you to interact one on one in the dolphin's environment. Playing ball with the dolphins, a pectoral ride and a foot-push on a boogey board is all part of this once in a lifetime experience!

Tour departs from most Puerto Plata, Playa Dorada, Cofresi and Maimon hotels. A surcharge is charged for passengers transferring from Sosua, Cabarette, Rio San Juan, Bahia Principe, Playa Grande and Luperon (payable direct and only available on certain days).

- Please Note: Pregnant passengers are not allowed to participate in any encounter / interactive programs
- Children aged 5 years and under are not permitted to swim with the dolphins
- Children aged 12 years and under must be accompanied by a paying adult in the same session
- Youths aged 13 - 17 need parental consent to participate in the program
