Departing from Featherdale, we commence our drive to the Blue Mountains via the highway. We will travel through the picturesque village of Wentworth Falls, home to a good collection of Victorian and other historic buildings and onto the Wentworth Falls Lookout. With spectacular views over the Jamison Valley and the magnificent waterfall for which it is named, this beautiful lookout is our first stop. Here we enjoy a leisurely 30 minute round trip walk to see the Waterfalls
Next, arrive at Eaglehawk Lookout, a remote lookout point away from the crowds for views of the famous 3 Sisters. The character of the Three Sisters changes throughout the day and throughout the seasons as the sunlight brings out the magnificent colours. Here your guide will discuss the legends behind this famous rock formation and time available for you to take some great photo’s.
After Eaglehawk Lookout, travel around the mountain to the village of Blackheath and our lunch venue the Blackheath Golf Club. Here in this relaxed, friendly club we enjoy a 2 course lunch food only. All diets are catered for. Beverages can be purchased at your own expense from the Bar.
This afternoon is spent visiting a selection of lookouts. Once you clap your eyes on the view from Govetts Leap you’ll know why it’s one of the most famous lookouts in Australia. The magnificent waterfall drops a whopping 180m to the base of the cliff. Next, drive through the picturesque village of Mt Wilson and stop to enjoy a glass of sparkling wine or orange juice at a beautiful remote lookout location.
The last stop is at the delightful Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens where we stop to enjoy the sweeping views across to Sydney before travelling down the Bells Line of Road to arrive back at your hotel approximately 4.30 - 5.00pm.

Picked up on time in a van that held 10 people. Scott was great. Very knowledgeable. Arrived and entered Featherdale Wildlife Park before doors were open. Highly recommend visiting there. Wish we could have spent more then 1 hour there. Scott drove us to so many overlooks and views with potential for views, but weather was very cloudy and then the rain came. Visted Botanical Gardens, but rain stopped me from exploring. The itinerary was excellent. Lunch was great. Wish the weather would have cooperated more.

The Blue mountains are definitely worth the trip to see, and I would recommend two days if possible to really see everything. The guide, Johnny was very informative not only about the area, but also the history and culture of Sidney and the Blue Mountains. The tour takes you beyond just the normal tour sites and really lets you gain a true understanding of the vast area called the blue mountains. I highly recommend Johnny and the small group eco tour.
