Optional Upgrade: Jungle Breakfast Among Orangutans
Singapore Zoo has the world's most successful orangutan-breeding program, and the largest social colony of these highly intelligent primates outside of their disappearing tropical rainforest. Don't miss the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to photograph the orangutans as they swing and climb in their naturalistic enclosure while you enjoy breakfast — an experience you'll never forget.
Head to the Ah Meng Restaurant, where you’re treated to a hearty buffet breakfast of international and local favorites, including tropical fruits and juices. Then watch the zoo’s orangutan family make a spectacular entrance as they descend into an adjacent backdrop filled with vines and branches. Watch the orangutans as you dine and enjoy their playful antics before taking your family photos with the apes. You'll also have an optional close-up visit with a reticulated python, the longest snake in the world!

Had a great trip to the zoo. Might skip the breakfast part next time as the food was just OK and we only got a 10 second photo opportunity with the orangutans, no interaction. There are other food options available at the zoo. The zoo itself has some of the most natural enclosures I've seen anywhere in the world and many animals aren't enclosed at all but are conditioned to stay in particular areas. We got around most of the zoo in the allotted time but we walked and did not take the train.
