Chef Dominique was very gracious in allowing us into his home. It was a ways away from city center, but it was cool to see how Parisiens live! We learned the very detailed steps to making a Macaroon and my spouse felt these Macaroons were better than the ones we got at Laduree Paris! Had a great time!Reviewed by: Jeramey P, February 2014
Wonderful! Chef 'Fred' was so lovely. We really did teach us techniques and asnwered all our questions (we're both serious bakers ourselves). Plus we had all kinds of great recommendations for around Paris. Chef Fred made the whole experience wonderful!Reviewed by: atmanzanares, February 2014
Went ahead with only 1 in the group (me!) so I got a personal session. Dominique was an excellent teacher: his English was perfect, he explained/demonstrated the process very well and I was able to participate in many of the steps. He sent me the recipes by email promptly after the class. The macaroons tasted great (we made both chocolate and raspberry ones). I was very impressed by this class and would highly recommend it. A very fun/different activity for a holiday in Paris.Reviewed by: Gavin B, January 2014
Our chef Frederic was very knowledgeable, helpful and an incredible host. We had a fun filled afternoon. I would do this again!!! Thanks Frederic for the fabulous memories!Reviewed by: Deborah P, September 2013

Great class. Chef Dominique Dury was fantastic, and very well prepared for our class. The only draw back was the lack of A/C in the apartment, as it happened to be a very hot/humid afternoon in Paris.

Great experience!!! Never knew they took soooo long to make!!Reviewed by: Maria H, Canada, August 2013
This was a very interesting and unusual thing to do! We went to a french chef's personal apartment where she had everything waiting and ready for us to bake. We made two varieties of macaroons (raspberry and milk chocolate and coconut). We were a small group, just four of us. It took about 3 hours, and Marthe was great. We each left with about 15 macaroons each in a box to take with us. Fun and unusual experience!Reviewed by: Mojimom, August 2013
Chef Dominique was awesome! Our macaroons were absolutely delicious!!!!! My only recommendation is that having an experience like this in someone's home is a bit awkward at first. Maybe provide background music or offer a glass of champagne to start the event so everyone can loosen up. Without this, after about 30 minutes, we were all chit-chatting and making macaroons. A little levity in the very beginning would be great, though. :)Reviewed by: Kimberly D, August 2013
Learning how to make macaroons in Paris at a Parisians home kitchen was one of the highlights of my Europe holiday. Our host/ chef/ teacher welcomed us into his home and we felt at ease and had lots of fun. I recommend this tour to anybody who enjoys cooking or eating these sweet treats.Reviewed by: Helen L, July 2013
