Santa Maria delle Grazie

View of the apse from within the "frog" courtyard. This is the church/convent (1460s) in which the "Last Supper" was painted (1495-1498 mural on dining room wall).

One wing of the Galleria -- designed from day one (1861-1877) to be a shopping center. Huge and gorgeous; would that all malls were this spectacular.

The tour does not take you up to the Dumo's roof (not everyone wants to go up), but the tour does end at the Duomo, and you can pay a fee and go up top to wander among the marble spires. Highly recommended end to the tour.
