The hop-on hop-off Day pass on the Canal Bus is a great option. I wish we had taken better advantage of it. You will really appreciate the serene method of traffic-free travel, avoiding the careening bicycles on the streets. If we had known how much we would enjoy the canal boats, we would have allocated more time to ride them. The Van Gogh Museum is very nice and well worth visiting. This combination was probably the best value of all the tours we experienced.Reviewed by: Larry B, June 2013
This is the way to do it. It might seem touristy but it's a great way to got to know the city layout and a great price for getting all around Amsterdam. Make sure to also book at least one night tour. The lights on the water at night are magnificent!Reviewed by: Elizabeth A B, May 2013
This was just a fabulous experience! Very easy to get on and off and the views of the city were great!Reviewed by: Merdice E, May 2013
Relieved to avoid lines. Enjoyed canal bus and took it for entire course to see AMS from another view.Reviewed by: Angel F, April 2013
This was a great way to see Amsterdam. We were easily able to get off and go see different sights like the Van Gogh Museum.Reviewed by: Louise J, October 2012
It's a great way to see Amsterdam. It was only fior a day but covered a lot of places. Highly recommended. I will do it all over again but I will at least have 2 days.Reviewed by: delia s, USA, September 2012
A really good way to get around and see the sights. If you're a fan of Van Gogh's work it is well worth having the pass. The line was several hundred metres long when we arrived and it was great to be able to walk up to the "skip the queue" queue which was only 5 metres long.Reviewed by: John Y, September 2012
Firstly - Definitely recommend buying the Van Gogh Museum Prepaid Ticket - we got to skip a line of about 100 people to get in because we planned ahead!!
Secondly - the Canal bus Hop On Hop Off is a great idea. It gets you around to so many places with ease but is also a beautiful way to see the city from the canals.
easy and skipped the lines. I wished I had also signed up for the Anne Frank House which had a huge line.Reviewed by: James A, September 2012
The Skip the Line: Van Gogh Museum was so worth it. It saved us from an hour plus line up. We got in within 5 minutes of our arrival. The Hop-On Hop-Off 48 hour pass worked out well and we enjoyed all three lines. Dan S from CanadaReviewed by: Dan S, September 2012
