I bought this tour for my husband and me. We landed in the early hours of a Saturday morning in February and rushed straight to Dam square for the tour. From start to finish, the tour was fantastic. We were visiting out of peak time, so our group was very small (there were just 5 of us) and Terry really catered to our every need. Terry who is originally from Ireland has been living in Amsterdam for a number of years and knew a huge amount about the city and and its history. He was willing to answer all manner of questions about all the areas we walked through. The tour allowed us to see all important areas of the city and meant that during our short stay there we felt confident to explore the city on our own during our stay. Great value for money- I would definitely recommend this!!

This was our first morning in Amsterdam and the lovely tour guide Esther did not disapoint. Her tour was entertaining and her knowledge amazing. Being a local, she was happy to recommend places to go and see. The 3 hours flew by and we wished it was longer, as her company was so much fun. Many of the things she told us has retained in our memory, so we could recognise places again and again with the history day after day! Please book this tour if visiting as it's a great way to see the city, understand it's history and have fun whilst doing so, but ask for Esther! Thank you for a great tour.

A fascinating insight into the city and its history and a great way of seeing all the key sights in one go, all brought to vivid life by the guide (an Irishman who's lived there for nearly a decade) who was not only extremely knowledgeable but very friendly as well.

we met our tour guide at the appointed time and we set off on our walk around the street of Amsterdam we first stopped at the shop that sells everything for safe sex which apparently is a charity that helps stop HIV and other sexual deseases spreading then on to the red light district to see the windows that the girls operate from i was suprised as was my wife to see them operate right beside a church that had houses built on to the side of it apprently so that the church goers that lived there could be nearer to god. seen the oldest house, the flower market, smallest house, cheese shop was excellant, had coffee, and learnt a lot from sean our guide he was superb and new a great deal about Amsterdam the formation of the dykes and how the Amsterdamers constructed them to the building of the houses and if you had a set of steps that went ether way from your front door the old saying money coming in and money going out. Sean showed us a pie and mash shop in one of the streets and it looked really appetising so after Sean had done his duty and left us back at our hotel my wife and i went back to the said shop and enjoyed a feast of Pie and mash it was fantastic and thanks again for a wounderful adventure
