We enjoyed the cruise very much, meeting new people we shared our table with and the dinner was very nice. A very enjoyable evening. I would highly recommend it.

It's a good way to spend a special night in Amsterdam without planning it yourself.
Can you get a $20 canal tour and go to a restaurant for less money? Yes.
Can you get better food elsewhere? You can.
As with all Viator tours, you can do it yourself OR you can simply print out a voucher and turn up at the place they tell you at the time they say and have an enjoyable tour without the stress of doing yourself.
We had an enjoyable night and if you like your wine, then you'll love this one.

The experience was wonderful. The timing of the dinner was masterful. We started eating about 10-15 minutes into the cruise, and ended eating about 10-15 minutes before the end. Food and service were excellent.
The view of the town from the canal was an interesting experience for this Yank.
I highly recommend this cruise and this company to all who read this review

Great experience and meal. However, upon check-in I was told I hadn't made a meal choice. That's because none was offered at the time of booking. There is a choice between meat, fish, or vegetarian. Might want to make the choice in the special requests.

I missed this on the date I booked so I paid a NO-SHOW fees to book another one. The company which VIATOR.com made the arrangments with was so nice and freindly but they was little complicated and didn't solve the problem for me right a way. I had to visit the final service provider twice -luckily not far- to pay the fees and confirm another date. The dinner itself, ROMANTIC, nice food, staff were nice including the Captain.

This was a relaxing cruise which started as dusk began to fall at 8 o'clock and ended at about 10.20. It was wonderful to view the amazing city of Amsterdam from the boat and as darkness came the lights were beautiful. To see the tall thin houses with all their rooms on display gave us a delightful peek into the lives of the Dutch people. They are proud to show off their homes so do not close blinds or shutters. We saw elegant rooms with paintings on the walls and wonderful lighting. We saw people dining, playing guitars, painting or just socialising. In the houseboats which we passed very close to we also saw aspects of life in Holland that we wouldn't have seen by any other means. The staff were friendly, professorial and discreet so the trip was ideal for a romantic evening. The food was delicious, though we did wonder why a Yorkshire pudding was served with the main course. It was beautifully garnished with vegetables but was to English people from Manchester it was a strange thing to have on a cruise in Amsterdam. It was all delicious though and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. I could recommend this to anyone.
