No cheap experience, but we nevertheless enjoyed it. Seeing the illuminated canals of Amsterdam, having a little snack and good French wine in front of us, and listening to the helpful information in our own language was one of the highlights of our trip to Amsterdam.

The candlelight tour is a nice way to see Amsterdam especially if you want peer into the rooms of the houses along the embankments!
