Great way to get the feel of Tokyo and all the major sites out of the way on the first day. Tour guide (Junkie?) was excellent, sweet and complete! Nice lunch in panoramic hotel restaurant 'roof' top. Good lesson on city layout, how to use the metro, and some rules of the city....

The best way to visit Tokyo. Very good tour operator in Japan.

The tour was excellent, and the guide was superb. She was quite knowledgeable, and her English was flawless. My son and I had just one day for sightseeing in Tokyo, and this was the perfect way to see as much as possible. The lunch provided was only so-so, but who cares? There are a million restaurants in the world but only one Tokyo. My favorite place was the East Garden of the Imperial Palace. My son really enjoyed the hour-long cruise in Tokyo Bay.

This was an excellent introduction to tokyo and packed a lot into a day without feeling rushed. The guides were great - filled us in on all sorts of local background and customs as well as giving us a historical setting. Well priced. well worth it.

Overall we enjoyed the tour very much. The tour guide, Kourie (Curry) was excellent and gave us very good information. For me, the highlights were the walls, moat and gardens of the old Imperial Palace.

The Day Tour was awesome!! Our tour guide, Mr. Sato, was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour! The shrine and temple were both fascinating to visit and learn about from an historical perspective. The imperial palace gate was also interesting, though the gardens are closed on Monday and Friday, so we didn't get to see the gardens. For lunch, we ate in a restaurant overlooking the Sumida river and downtown Tokyo. It was beautiful. Lunch choices were Western-style. Then, the most awesome part of the tour, in my opinion, was taking the cruise boat across Tokyo Bay. It was incredibly beautiful! Just remember your coat if you're going in the winter or spring! I am so happy I signed up for this tour:-)
