Far above my expectations! Our guide, Lorcan (with a fada!) was wonderful! He chatted easily pointing out many interesting details throughout our tour without being overbearing. He was totally in tune with everyone's needs. Took us to really exciting, places with fab Tapas!! Def a Must Repeat!!!

I highly recommend taking this tour the first night of your arrival in Spain. James, provided the perfect balance of interesting history facts, paired with pertinent knowledge of the culture and food. He took us to 4 local tapas bars, which gave us the confidence to venture out on our own.

It was very entertaining, informational and yet fun! We had a small group, as six more were expected, but were delayed. So five of us were lead by an irishman, and the group included a russian, two canadians and two americans. We visited, learned, laughed, connected and saw a great part of the nightlife of Madrid that we would have otherwise missed. Our tour guide was great - he was nursing a cold (and subbing for another) but he was charming and informative. The tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Spain. If our tour is indicative of what you expect, you will have a lot of fun, enjoy it and hopefully learn from others about cultures different from your own.

A great tour. Our guide James does a great job of leading the group to the bars of Madrid. At the first bar all the food and drink is covered by the fee after that everyone puts some money into a kiltty. For our group it was E20. Great fun but wear good walking shoes! Highly reccomended.

We loved this tour! You go to places you definitely would not go to probably as just a tourist. The guide was great and friendly and fun and the group we had was great. As our guide put it, its like you are paying for a a friend for the night. He took us to places where locals go rather than touristy places and gave great pointers and info on do/dont's. Great food and great drinks. A must do and especially if it's your first time in Spain. Definitely try to do it sometime in the beginning of your trip so you know what to do and look for during the rest of your trip.
