Excellent day at San Diego Zoo, very unusual animals in a nice environment. We were early so didn't benefit with skipping queues but it was busy later on in the day.

I have never been to a zoo on this scale. It was amazing. The park grows it own tropical plants and food for the animals. The park is huge. I would suggest that you take the bus tour that is included in the ticket first. This will take you around the whole park while the driver gives you information about the different animals and area's of the park. This gives you a good idea of what you want to see. We took the bus tour and then the Aerial tram to the back of the park and worked our way to the front. Was a wonderful way to spend the day. A must see when your in San Diego.

We had such a wonderful time at the zoo! They had so many baby animals, especially the giraffes! Even as babies they are so tall. Definitely commit a whole day so you can see everything and start early before any of the animals take their naps!

The San Diego Zoo was very worthwhile, more than you can imagine to see but advise parents with young children that this could be a very long exhausting day and may want to split this tour into two visits so everything can be seen @ a leisurely pace.

Impressive zoo, so many animals, including the pandas. The ticket included a bus tour, which was also interesting. Overall, a good day.

I haven't visited this zoo in over 30 years and was impressed with how visitor friendly it is. It is very hilly and there are buses and carts available to assist those less mobile (like myself). The exhibits are very open and the animals are easily able to be seen (if they want to be), and you can have different experiences (a behind the scenes tour) if you would like that. It is good to see the preservation of endangered species of both flora and fauna being researched. The pandas were amazing!! A good days outing.
