Skip the Line: Borghese Gallery Tickets

I had been there a few times before but it is always a wonderful experience. We had plenty of time to thoroughly go through the gallery and it was not very crowded late in the day. A pleasant experience.

I highly recommend anytime you can skip-the-line -- in addition to not waiting in hours-long queues, sometimes in the hot sun -- many times tickets are no longer available at your museum. This was the case at Galleria Borghese when we went on a Saturday afternoon and were advised tickets were sold out through the next two weeks. We went home, logged onto Viator, and two days later were enjoying the museum's famed Bernini statues, Carvaggios and more. Unlike other museums we visited throughout Italy, Galleria Borghese was not too crowded. Highly recommend making a day out of this. Rent a bicycle outside the museum and enjoy the beautiful park, picnic and people-watch. Wonderful day!

Planning ahead, and getting the Borghese Gallery tickets scheduled ahead of time allowed us to get into and see the 'gallery'. Had we not done so, the tickets available to the public had been sold out till after we left Rome. Without planning ahead we would not have been able to get in and enjoy the art.

The Borghese is incredible. We just got tickets, no tour guide. Had a blast.

Our favorite of several tours in Rome. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and shared many details about the fantastic paintings and sculpture we saw. I would do the same tour again.

Borghese Gallery was one of our favorite tours. Our guide was insightful and was able to explain the importance of each work. It brought back a lot of my Art History studies and was something that I think everyone in our small group enjoyed.
