Tour guide was great!Reviewed by: Kate C, December 2013
I booked 10 tours through Viator for our 3 week France/Italy vacation and I have to say, the Borghese Gallery was our very favorite tour. This tour is self-guided with audio sets so you can hear about what you want, see what you want, and move at a pace that you want. It wasn't as crazy crowded as some of the other tours and the Borghese art pieces were breath taking. No cameras allowed in the gallery but I always found the photos in the souvenier books are better anyway. I was able to mark off my bucket list seeing the sculpture of APPOLO CHASING DAPHNE. It was everything I dreamed about and more. Gallery staff spoke English and were very nice and helpful. A+ to them too.Reviewed by: Frank M C, October 2013
This was an excellent experience as we had the time to really explore the Gallery and the gardens. Our guide, Rebecca, was so knowledgeable and helpful. Being an Art History major made her extremely passionate about the many wonderful paintings and sculptors. The was best tour we took in Rome !!Reviewed by: Harry S, October 2013
Our guide was so enthusiastic and interesting that she made the paintings and sculpture come alive. The two hour tour flew by. I wish we could have stayed longer.Reviewed by: Rebecca K, October 2013
Everything came out just as the directions said and we got into the Borghese without the line!Reviewed by: Tracy J, October 2013
Easy to locate ticket contact, highly recommended tour. Thanks for the ease of transaction.Reviewed by: Giles B, September 2013
It was terrific. The museum and gardens were absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed seeing a version of CentralPark in Rome.Reviewed by: Joanne C, September 2013
Rebecca was the best tour guide I was fortunate to have over two weeks in Italy. Her knowledge and enthusiasm brought the paintings and statues to life. The tour ran like clockwork, using every available minute, to see the fantastic artwork in the Borghese. Second only to the Vatican collection in Rome with none of the crowds. A nice walk through the gardens to the Piazza de Popolo to finish the tour. A can't miss if you admire Bernini, Raphael, Titian and Canova.Reviewed by: James R, September 2013
If you wish to see this Gallery this is the best way to do so. From the exit of the
Spanish Steps Metro you can catch a small train in the Borghese gardens euro 3 to the museum. If you pay extra you can have a guide but if you just turn up; you will find all tickets have been sold for the day! This I know from experience.
This is a fabulous museum! Not to be missed!!Reviewed by: Joan M, September 2013
