It was a fantastic trip despire the dreary weather. The drivers were full of interesting facts and stories and brought us to several sightseeing spots along the coast. I would also highly recommend staying a night at the Apollo Bay Hotel and exploring their weekend market, unless you don't mind being in a bus all day (8am-9pm) or are not prone to motion sickness!

The Great Ocean Road Bus Tour was such an amazing trip for us. The drivers were great and gave excellent suggestions for when we stopped. From the restaurant suggestions to the Heli Ride the driver's knowledge to the trip was spot on to having an unforgettable time. The afternoon and night we spent at Lorne was a great way to break up the trip. This gave us a chance to walk the beach and take a hike around the area where we got to see up close koalas in the wild. Never being to the area or country before this was a great way to plan a vacation. Thanks Viator for a vacation that we will never forget.

This was a trip I have long wanted to do and I was not disappointed. My wife and I stayed overnight in Apollo Bay - recommended. Both drivers, outwards and inwards, were lively, friendly and full of information with some good stories thrown in. We even saw a koala. Good value all round.

The views were amazing, even though the weather was not very kind - overcast, ocassional rain and relatively cold. Some negative points about this trip were that the extra day in my opinion was a waste of time as we were dropped off in Apollo Bay and left for 24 hours. Mistakenly I assumed I would have more things to see if I took 2 days instead of one, but this was not the case. Apollo Bay is a very pretty area, but there is very little to do there except go for a walk, sit on the beach or eat. The other negative point was that the driver on the second day was one hour late arriving at the pickup point, so by the end of the day we arrived back in Melbourne 2 hours later than scheduled. I realise that timings are estimated, but a 2 hour delay for no explainable reason was a little irritating.

Good trip - especially the first day. Had some trouble on the second day.

The coast line is absolutely phenomenal. I am glad I took a bus instead of driving because the road is so winding that I would have had to concentrate on the road instead of the scenery. The bus driver was very knowledgeable & had lots of interesting tid-bits to share. There were lots of ESL people on board so I'm not sure how much they benefited from the commentary but I was very impressed. There wasn't really very much to do at Apollo Bay for 12 hours, although it is very pretty and I took lots of photos. I had to buy a winter hat there it was so cold. I probably would recommend doing the adventure as a Day Trip. I am very pleased I have now seen this unique stretch of Australia.

Friendly, efficient and knowledgeable drivers. Clean and comfortable bus, very pleasant motel at Apollo Bay for the stopover. Beautiful and spectacular scenery. Interesting flora and fauna. Only blot a problem was narrowly avoided in picking up the bus on the second day - it was half an hour ahead of the time that we'd expected and parked in a different place. The drivers should coordinate better.

This trip was extremely disappointing!!! This trip was billed as a two day Great Ocean Road experience. The bus dropped us off at Apollo Bay at 1:00 on Thursday. The bus picked us up at 2:00 on Friday. So we virtually went on a one day Great Ocean Road trip with a 24 hour overnight stay at a Comfort Inn. Our room was on the first floor facing the parking lot and so there was traffic in and out all hours of the night. When we got to Apollo Bay we were stranded for 25 hours with no transportation.
