Fantastic, loved it! Wasn't given all the information about times as such when booked. Was only told we were leaving first flight out when sitting around the bonfire after dinner, but was told when booked that we didn't return until 2pm.

The tour was good, the helicopter pilot was very informative and we saw amazing views. The stay at the ranch was nice, however, the details of the trip were a bit disorganized. I had difficulty confirming a pickup time from the helicopter company and had difficulty getting a response from Viator on why the helicopter company didnt have record of my prepaid reservation. I never did receive responses to my several emails, however, eventually found a phone number to call, and was able to get it confirmed. Upon checking in, the people ahead of clearly had their reservation correct as they confirmed meals included etc. When we checked in they made it sound like they were doing us a favor to include meals, however, it was clearly included in the reservation I made...Upon landing at the ranch, evidently there was confusion on whether we were supposed to be staying overnight. According to the ground crew and the pilot, we were supposed to heading back to Vegas the same day, however, I had to prove to them that we were booked to stay overnight...after phone calls and waiting they determined we were supposed to stay overnight. Of course, I am guessing that since they expected us to leave without staying overnight, they didnt plan for us to leave the next morning and therefore couldnt fit us on the morning helicopter return flight, we end up having to wait an additional 3 or 4 hours at the ranch, with little or nothing to do until they had available space on a trip back. The trip was amazing and worth the dollars spent, just disappointed in the organization.

Flying in a helicopter over the Grand Canyon was a memorable experience; however, not landing and only seeing the West Rim was a big mistake! Furthermore, the ranch was a tourist trap--59 dollars to sit on a horse that was just following a line in slow motion and riding around in dust with no view over the Grand Canyon--that's a waste of money and time. The ranch was located far from the West Rim--no chance at going for a walk to enjoy the sight of the Grand Canyon. Very expensive for a trip like that. Next time we will travel to the North and East Rims.

The helicopter trip to the ranch was an amazing experience! The stay at Grand Canyon West Ranch - NOT SO MUCH! It was advertised as a "real working ranch," but in reality was a DUDE ranch or as we dubbed it, "a dud ranch." Not much to do there and very hokey. And seriously, helmuts to ride a horse?!! I grew up riding horses and have never worn a helmut in my life! Plus, my husband and I both got food poisoning while were were there! The one bright spot was the campfire sing-a-long with Cowboy Dave. He rocked it!
