This day trip shows you the highlights of the Vatican Museum and related churches. The guides were very friendly and know a lot about the history and art of ancient Rome.

excellent tour. superb visit to Vatican museum,Sistine chapel and St Peter’s in morning and then travelled by coach to see the other 3 churches in the afternoon. Meeting point easy to find and all very well organized. Only issue was that did not get to see the Holy Steps at St. John Lateran - a bit disappointed as was an advertised highlight and one of the major reasons for choosing this tour. Was advised that would take too long but the chapel is just across the road from the church and it really only takes a few minutes to see them .Fortunately had time to return by myself the following day.

Highly Recomended!! You get to see the Vatican and important points in a single day, but we wished we could have spend a little more time in the Vatican Museum and see a little more art. Amazing to be able to skip the line, since there is so much people wanting to see the Vatican.

Although the Sistine Chapel was closed because of the conclave, the additional sections of the museum that were added to the tour for us made up for the missing normal walk through the chapel. The guide was well informed and excellent. We will look for tours led by the DarkRome company on other occasions. Later, our group went to St. Peter's Basilica, since that also was cut from the normal tour schedule because of the conclave.

Excellent tour and even better tour guide. Claudia our guide was lovely, this tour is well worth the money, the Vatican is an amazing place to see. I would take the tour again because there is so much to see. Once is not enough... Enjoy!

This was the most amazing day we have had in our holiday.
In the morning we had a tour of the Vatican museums with our wonderful tour guide Angelica. Our guide was so knowledgeable and added so much value to the tour. We didn't get to see the Sistene Chapel due to the Papal Conclave but this couldn't be predicated.
In the afternoon we visited the 3 papal Basilica churches with our tour guide Rebecca. This was my favourite part of the day. Rebecca was outstanding and she made the tour so much more meaningful. The depth of knowledge and insight she added to the tour was remarkable.
I can not speak highly enough of the tour and the service we received. I highly recommend this to anyone who is interested.
I could not say one negative thing about our experience. Would recommend without hesitation.

Very knowledgeable morning guide, but would have preferred more time ( and less time for two hour lunch interval between morning and afternoon portions).
