This was worth it. Our guide Georgia was very knowledgeable and able to share a bit of history of the Vatican. We were seated in the best spot to see Pope Francis. Definitely worth taking this tour.

Our guide was great. Very informed and funny. Educated us and kept us entertained during the wait - which really made this work much better for our kids. We did not have to stand in the main wait line and had pretty good seats.

It was awesome to participate in such a historical moment in time, and so very happy we had booked time in the Papal audience prior to the abdication announcement. We also had the benefit of attending Ash Wednesday mass, the last one to be presided over by Papa, so the locals fondly call the Pope.
