It was a thrill to see Versailles in all of its majesty. Although it was a misty day, the gardens of Giverny could not be more inspiring. The problem with this trip was one of the guides who could not wait to get the day over with.

Both locations and the lunch venue are fantastic but not enough time at Versailles, although I can't see how you could adjust the itinery. Very good value for you money.

Very enjoyable and relaxing day. Monet's garden is a special place and is one of the highlights of our European trip. A pleasant drive in Normandy countryside with lunch at le Moulin de Fourges. Versailles trip is a must for historians. The craftsmanship and opulence at this "hunting lodge" is mind blowing. Gardens are interesting, especially the topiary.

Quaint Giverny contrasts excellently with the opulence (and crowds) at Versailles. I had been unsure where it was worth making the trip to Versailles given the crowds, but it was well worth it. The included lunch was excellent and the guide had a fantastic sense of humor.

Outstanding day trip to Giverney and Versailles. We especially enjoyed the serene surroundings of the french countryside, and that includes the wonderful lunch spot, which was at a charming inn and restaurant, alongside a river, with a water wheel. Quiet country area, and serenely picturesque. This was a great day.

Great day trip. There were 2 guides for the group and they were both excellent. The early start meant we beat the big crowds at Giverny and there was time to sit and admire the gardens. The restaurant served a delicious lunch and the setting was lovely. Versailles was crowded but the headsets meant that it was easy to hear the guide's information. There wasn't a lot of time to explore the gardens but it was great to be able to visit both sites in one day.
