My wife and I loved this tour! Marta was an excellent guide who remembered everyone's name and ensured no oen got lost and everyone could see and hear her topics. She was extremely knowledgeable and personable, as well. There is a wealth of art and history to look and hear about and Marta did an excellent job optimizing time and topics. A wonderful experience we will always remember.

My first time in Rome and the tour guide we had was the BEST! She was not only informative but she would get so excited about the history that it really would get you excited too. She loved her job, you could tell that for sure. I would recommend this tour to everyone. It was a lot of walking but didn't mind at all!

Great Tour! Simon met us across the street of the Vatican Museums early in the morning. We were one of the first tours, therefore beating the crowds. The small group intamacy was great. Simon was extremely knowledgeable and had very interesting and humorous historical tidbits to add to the general information. Well worth the price. Three hours that we will never forget.

After having been on a couple of other tours during the week prior to this, I thought this tour was fantastic. Our guide Patrice (?), Patricia, was absolutely top notch. We were there just after Easter and the lines waiting for entrance snaked along three sides of the square. We missed all of that and being a small group allowed very easy access into rooms. I would recommend highly. Definitely worth the cost for me.

I booked the Vatican small group tour "on-line" 2 days before arriving in Rome.. yes I know "last minute" arrangements may "crash and burn.. but "no".. met with the Guide "early doors".. our booking details were there and a very welcoming Francesca (Graduate MA in Art) led the group. We were wired up with individual "headsets".. what a great piece of kit. From the moment we started our "passionate, polite and altogether professional guide" didn't let up. In every way this was without doubt an amazing 3 hours of "show / tell"... and an introduction to the "Masters" and their work ! In truth my wife and I could not have known about half of what was being seen.. not even with a guide book strapped to our heads !
So I think you get the point.. amazing Sistine Chapel.. amazing St Peter's Basilica and so much more... and a "top drawer" person to listen to... would we do it again... yes please !
This tour was everything we hoped for and more. Our guide, Graham, was very knowledgeable and gave us a level of insight within the museums that we never would've received had we went alone. Plus, skipping the line was an added bonus. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone going to Rome.

We signed up for this tour to avoid the lines and it does. We walked right up to the door and went in. Perfect. Do not bring a back-pack as the museum will make you check it and it is a long walk to get back to get it after the tour. The guide was great and the tour was informative, but 90 percent is concentrated on the museums. You have about 15-20 minutes to view the Sistine Chapel at the end, and then you are on your own for St. Peter's (no guide - audio or otherwise).
