The guide did a great job in getting the group to the seats, gave tips for enjoying Rome and especially, gave suggestions for the best times to see the Basilica and Museums. His narration of the events and history that took place in the area of Rome where the Vatican is, was very informative and interesting. Thank you.Reviewed by: Blanca P, October 2013
OUR TOUR DIRECTOR WAS FANTASTIC. WE HAD WONDERFUL SEATS, AND HER COMMENTARY WAS EXCELLENT. I HAVE NOTHING BUT RAVES EVEN THOUGH IT WAS POURING RAIN.Reviewed by: SHARON D, October 2013
A once in a lifetime experience. Our tour guide was excellent.Reviewed by: nukerecruiter, October 2013
This was a wonderful experience for us as Roman Catholics. Our guide was the best! You can do this for free, but you will likely not get within 100 meters of Papa Francis! By paying a few Euros, we had seats within 10 meters of the Pope as he passed by. Make sure you have water and adequate protection from the sun. You will be waiting for a few hours for the Pope to pass by. Seats are not reserved, but a good guide and some luck (divine intervention) will get you in close. Our guide was very sweet and passionate about sharing her knowledge of the papal experience and historical data.Reviewed by: Ted S, October 2013
Tiffany is by far the best tour guide we had during our time in Rome. Definitely worth it, and she got us right next to where the Pope would go by. Was worried that it would be boring waiting for the audience to start, but Tiffany filled the time with fun and interesting facts and stories.Reviewed by: Michael G, October 2013
Our guide, Sam, was well informed and interesting for the whole of the 2 hours before the Pope appeared.
We learned a lot about the history of the Vatican and the Papacy. This was the highlight of our visit to Rome. Well worth it.
Well worth the early start and thoroughly enjoyable. Our guide, Nina, appointed herself as 'Mama Bear' and she certainly took care of her 'brood' by getting us seats in a really good location. She was also very knowledgeable about St Peter's Square and the whole papal history and added great colour.
I don't think you need to be a Roman Catholic to enjoy this (though it probably helps) I think that all will enjoy the genuine love and affection that permeates the scene.
We had a great time with this tour. This is a must to anyone visiting Rome. The charism of Pope Francis and the energy of the crowd on Saint Peter’s square was amazing. We were blessed in so many ways. Nina, our tour guide was fantastic. Her passion and her energy were containgious. She made sure we had a great spot. So, we were literally a few feets from the Pope. Amazing experience.Reviewed by: PAULO G, September 2013
This was an experience of a lifetime. Seeing the new Pope was very moving. Our guide, Makayla (sp?), was informative, smart and funny which made the long wait enjoyable. Navigating through the crowds would have been very difficult without her and we would never have gotten such great seats. If you are going to Rome you should do this tour.Reviewed by: Melissa K, September 2013
