This trip is a must for history buffs! There is a lot of walking on uneven ground once you arrive to the coast, so wear comfortable shoes. The included lunch was excellent, our guide was imformative and ensured we had ample time to pay our respects. This trip is well worth your time!!

Thank you and your folks at Viator for a truely amazing, informative, exciting, and joyous tour of the Normandy beaches. There is no waY TO IMPROVE THIS experience within the time that we had for it. First class- all the way. My granddaughter and I are indebted to you folks for turning an already great tour of Paris into a memorable adventure in France.

Eliza was an excellent historian, great pesonality, professional and prompt. We only had 1 day to possibly see Normandy-- a must for all Americans. She made sure that we got the maximum experience from the day. There were only 6 of us in the van. I would not recommend that visitors take a large bus with 50+ people because they will lose so much of the opportunity to ask questions and discuss. Eliza was an amazing guide. Thank you for a memorable and excellent day.

This tour is a must do....especially if you have limited time in Paris. We booked the small group. There were 7 total plus our guild. Our guild was friendly, informative and available to assist us and answer all of our questions. The lunch was at a lovely inn/restaurant and it was a first class experience. Would definitely recommend this small group tour.

Only problem with this tour is you can't control the weather. Rain was heavy in the morning but our wonderful tour guide Magnus still made history come alive. Day cleared up by Juno Beach and was bright and sunny for lunch in a historic B and B. Suggest you ask what your eating when they set it in front of you because they don't tell you. But it was fun figuring it out with our group. Long drive so be sure to enjoy the beautiful countryside.

Was an emotional trip. The bomb sites that were preserved was amazing that anyone could live through such awful terror. The German pill boxes were really death traps for the men manning them.
The memorial garden / graves was very beautiful. To see Jewish stars among the crosses was a tribute to freedom.
I would recommend this tour to anyone to see what was earned and sacrificed by these men.
Thank you
This tour was a very long day but very worthwhile. We learnt a lot of history which I for one did not know before. Very varied and interesting day.

Driver was prompt in picking us up and friendly and efficient. He provided many details including an introduction to what we would be seeing upon our arrival in Normandy. He was very patient and accommodating - definitely eager to be sure that the experience was good for all of us. Lunch was delightful in the old fort. Truly a perfect experience for us and David (driver) is a gem.
