The tour was incredible! I had been to Toledo before (on my own) but it was well worth taking a tour and getting more insight/knowledge of everything in Toledo. I was pleasantly surprised by everything El Escorial had to offer. The tour guide was great...very glad I took this tour.

Excellent tour. I would recommend to reverse the tour order in the winter, Toledo is beautiful and should be seen while still light is on.

Absolutely beautiful! Excellent tour, except that your pass many great tourist shops in Toledo only to get extended time at one that is not so good.

El Escorial Monastery was a perfect trip to the mountains.

This was a great tour. I enjoyed the tour guide for the first part of the trip; for the Toledo trip, the tour guide was not very nice. Although you should visit both places, this is quite a lot to do in one day.

It was a wonderful experience. The guides were very nice and had a very broad knowledge. The tour was organized, punctual, and for us, a spectacular encounter with history, art and Spanish architecture of each period.

It was nice, but I felt as though I got more out of the Toledo tour which was part of the four day tour to Cordoba, Sevilla, Granada, and Toledo. The four day trip which included Toledo was more informative over all.

excellent value for money, very well organized, friendly staff at Julia Travel and good guides.
Comfy coaches with a good speaker system, so overall really good, we did see a lot in one day, sure we coud not have done all that on our own.
I very much enjoyed the El Escorial/Valley of the Fallen/Toledo day trip. The tour began promptly at the Julia travel office at Plaza de Espana. The tour was broken up into two different segments: 1) morning segment directly to El Escorial and the Valley of the Fallen Basilica, and 2) afternoon to Toledo (with Pullman tours). While I enjoyed both tours immensely and the guides were very informative, I would have preferred a quick tour of the cathedral in Toledo instead of the stop at the Museo de Victorio Macho. What I mean to say is while I did appreciate the Victorio Macho museum and its lovely views, I feel Toledo Cathedral would have been more indicative of a visit to this lovely city. Both tour guides were very knowledgeable with excellent English. I also appreciated being dropped off at the end of the Toledo tour at Paseo del Prado/Westin Palace Hotel after Toledo (organized in cooperation with Pullman Tours). If you are pressed for time to see as much as you can in a one day tour, then this tour is the one, but be sure to be well prepared for a long day. Lastly, the visit to the Church of Santo Tome to admire El Greco's "The Burial of the Count of Orgaz" was one of my main reasons for wanting to visit Toledo. It is a lovely painting and the church of Santo Tome was also open for visiting (which is not always the case from what our guide told us). We did not have enough time to spend touring Santo Tome church for a few minutes. It would also have been nice to be able to purchase some postcards of Santo Tome church, but the church/shop closes at 5:30pm.
