A really enjoyable morning doing the London Tower. We did a self guide tour with radios and it was nice to just take our time a doing things at our pace. We spent about 3 hrs there which is loads if you are doing a short stay in London. Well worth going to see, so much history there.

Short line up and well organize
Must do !
We took this tour in February so the cold weather kept the crowds away. We definitely did not need to pay extra for the "skip the line" feature, but we only had two days in London, so we couldn't afford to risk it. I would say that, if you go at 9 am when they open, you will have no problems and won't need the skip the line. With that being said, this place FILLS UP by noon, so definitely get there first thing in the morning. This was an awesome tour and I would recommend spending the majority of the day here as opposed to the 3-4 hour suggestion on the tour details. You definintely need more time if you plan to see everything and take all the extra tours that are included with your admissino.

Very convenient to pick up tickets at the Group Window. We enjoyed just being able to enter the Tower and do everything at our own pace.

This is a must to see. We got to see the Crown Jewels and that was amazing. Now it was very busy the Tower of London and we got there at 11.00am but thank god we had already purchased tickets. You can follow a tour guide inside but there was so many people around him you couldn't hear him talking but when you go inside the walls there is a little shop on the right and you can buy these audio guides and just listen to them as you walk around they are really handy. They cost £11.00.
