Where all the Gladiators and lions were kept before the show!
Where all the Gladiators and lions were kept before the show!! This was covered with a wooden floor which as of course has since fallen away but you can see where everything went on underneath. The Gladiators were raised on platforms to the arena surface............very interesting!
