We had a real enjoyable half day trip of Mount Titlis. Weather was good our Guide was nice lady who made our tour enjoyable. We could take all rides including Iceflyer as weather was sunny on the day.A true relaxing trip enjoyed all the way.Reviewed by: SHUBHANG V, September 2013
The half day trip to Mt Titlis was very great for us, the family with children age 10 and 5. We really enjoyed the scenery from the cable cars going up and going down Mt Titlis, especially the rotating cable car to the top of the mountain. Children was very happy when playing snow at the top during this summer time, especially for us from Indonesia where snow is never falling down. The ice flyer was also attractive and the cliff walk, the highest suspension bridge in the world, was challenging. The tour guide is also very informative and she always tried to make sure that we would not be lost. The room for improvement is the duration of the tour on the top of Mt Titlis which is very short. It would be greater if children could play snow longer, so I suggest we may depart from Lucerne earlier instead of 12.30 p.m. As overall, the tour is highly recommended for those who want to see and touch snow for the first time.Reviewed by: Julius H, Indonesia, September 2013
We enjoyed our trip to Mt Titlus greatly.
It was a highlight of our time in Switzerland (Sep 13) for our kids (11 and 12).
The cable cars, and gondolas up the mountain are epic. As are the views of the surrounding Alps once you reach the top. Lucerne is a beautiful town, and this trip to the snow capped peak of Mt Titlus was the icing on the cake.
We did miss out on tubing on the snow as the location of that activity was not clearly explained ( take the Ice flyer to get to it).
Well worth the experience
We met the tour group and guide at the Lucerne train station and from there it took about 45 minutes to get to Engleberg. The bus ride was nice our guide was super sweet (Alex), he talked a little bit on the way there giving us some information about the mountain and the valley and a couple of interesting stories. When we got there we had to take 3 different cable carts up. This particular day was VERY busy and also quite cloudy when we got to the top. My sister and I went on the ice flyer which was fun and into the glacier cave as well. Other than it being really busy that day we didn't really have many complaints. The tour was worth it in our opinion!Reviewed by: Prabjot A K, August 2013
Tour operators not at fault for the weather, it was grim, couldn't see a thing. Tour operators were to blame for very slow start waiting for late late late passengers. They threatened to leave without latecomers after 20 minutes, after another 15 minutes we were still there sat waiting. This sort of got us in a bad place before we even started, so 3 stars is pretty generous. Coach driver very good and safe, a considerate road user, he got a tip!Reviewed by: Terence C, October 2013
