My husband and I had a wonderful day on this tour!!! The tour guide was great and we learned so much about champagne tasting. We stayed in Paris for a week so the day trip was a perfect way to see the countryside and do something different!!!! The bus was a comfortable easy way to get there!!!!! Found a really cute place called Manon to eat lunch!Reviewed by: Todd R, October 2013
Info was the same at both vineyards. 2nd stop should have been additional infoReviewed by: Dennis M, November 2013
Good trip. Lots of information, history and the guides did a good job. For the money it was a bit cheap that each champaign house provided only 1 small glass. If you want the experience it's good, but if you want to sample a few different kinds to determine your preferences it isn't worth it.Reviewed by: Michelle O, November 2013
Would have preferred a half day tour. The vineyards were exactly the same and the second tour was very repetitive. Seemed overpriced for what was included. Guides were great, bus was clean and comfortable. Wish we actually got to see the vineyards. The tours were only indoors. Overall an OK tour.Reviewed by: Sky C, November 2013
Overall, a little disappointing. Check-in at the tour office was quick and easy, the bus was nice, and the rides out to the Champagne region and back were scenic and relaxing. But the two champagne tours were virtually identical, which makes me wonder why they bothered to have both on the same trip. I was hoping to see a bit of the vineyards and/or more of the operation, not just the cellars where the champagne is stored. (Spoiler alert: they look like cellars, and the spiels from the 2 guides were identical.) Also, we did the tour on a Sunday, which seemed like a good idea because we figured lots of things would be closed in Paris that day, but lots of things were also closed in Reims, including many of the better lunch spots and the cathedral itself, of which we were supposed to get a guided tour.Reviewed by: Timothy H, October 2013
