One of the best experience i have had in NYC and i was born and raised here. It's definitely a must. I can understand why is pricey for the helicopter part of it but i think they should cut back a little bit in charging $20 for one photo.

Highly recommended - quite expensive but buying on-line is a lot cheaper then buying in New York. Excellent views - Note: If you are paying for a daytime ride, it is wise to do the Empire state when dark or visa verse

I have to say that the helicopter ride was great and if anyone thinks it's all about hair-raising up and down flying...you're mistaken. The flight is gentle with lots to see and varied language commentaries...though there is a but...
Upon arriving at the Heliport one can see various queues and guess what? There are various helicopter companies flying for the same port and it's organised chaos. It is not apparent which queue belongs to which company and so you go from one Official to another until you find the company's queue you've booked with. Then, depending whether you're way early (like we were) or on time, you may be placed in one of two queues, moved up the line and eventually security checked before you enter the building and wait by a desk to be given a slot time to return again to join a queue before then having to wait for a locker, then weighed in, to finally join another queue before finally heading to a helicopter, this process can take a couple of hours, so be prepared. It's all worth it in the end, but better organisation from the port and a better explanation towards us in how the system works, would better serve the customer.
Don't be put off, as now you've read this you know what to expect :-))
Trip was awesome! Everything well organized! It was just too short... in terms of just pure flying time because in terms of sightseeing - we saw everything we wanted to see! Great experience overall and what a great way to see NYC!!!
