Small group, great guide, beautiful landscapes and excellent food and wine! You won't regret!Reviewed by: Patrick O, May 2013
Great way to see Tuscany in a day. The best part of the trip was the wine tasting and lunch at a winery. Our guide Peter gave us some great tips about Rome on how to choose the best gelato and how to tell if a restaurant is too pricey. You could tell he was very passionate about Italy, it's culture and history. Thanks for a great day!Reviewed by: Rob G, Canada, May 2013
My husband and I loved this tour, the day trip was great. Lindy our guide was fabulous. She made sure that everyone is having a great time. We were able to visit the Monastery to hear the Gregorian Chant. And the lunch at the winery was fabulous. I highly recommend this tour for someone who does not want to drive, enjoy the view and a relaxing trip. Great job. Dark Rome is a great tour company.Reviewed by: jophine13, USA, April 2013
Excellent guide and nice itinerary. However, mid-size buses not the best choice for a 12+ hour tour - noisy and poor riding.Reviewed by: Robert W, May 2013
We had a very helpful and informative tourlead (Dario). The Tuscan countryside was movingly beautiful in the spring sun. The towns we were taken to - Montepulciano and Pienza - were both very pretty with great view of the undulating hills. The meal we had was simple but good - it was such a shame we had to eat in the cellar where there was no sun.
The downside to the tour is that it felt very rushed. We did not have enough time to enjoy the towns or take in the scenary. I would have been happy to visit only one town but spend more quality time.
