Thankfully we had good weather for this day. It was also very nice to have a small group of just 8 plus driver/ guide. Mauro was a very good driver which was important on the narrow winding roads. He was also a good guide and certainly imparted his love of the area. It is indeed beautiful. This trip included so many things. A train ride, a boat trip, time for a wonderful lunch and marvelous scenic views. Enjoyed it a lot.

very pretty and convenient way to get to see the area. The tour didnt leave much time to see each town - you were in and out pretty quickly but it was still nice. There was a boat ride from one town to the other and that was great. Would recommend.

Loved our tour to Cinque Terre. Our guide, Jon, was very friendly and made us feel comfortable through our journey. The weather conditions were not ideal and some of the tour had to be modified but we still very much enjoyed the beauty of these villages. The small group of 8 made it easier to get to and from even during the busy train rides between villages. We did feel rushed even at our stop in Vernazza where we had free time to shop and have lunch but as typical Italian service is VERY slow we felt rushed to even enjoy a good meal and we were even there on day that was less busier then typical so I am not sure how you could enjoy a nice restaurant during peak season. The day was long and the tour was the most expensive one we took in Italy but it worth it!

Cinque Terre is beautiful. We only visited 4 of the 5 towns. This tour is perfect for those wanting to experience the area and culture but not walk too much. We went on the train and ferry- both interesting experiences.

The Cinque Terre are beautiful, but I cannot in clear conscience recommend this tour of the Cinque Terre from Florence. To put it succinctly, you spend most of the day riding in a van and it's simply not worth the money. If you want to go to the Cinque Terre, a day tour like this is far from a good idea.
1) Three people were late and Luca waited for them, which is fine, but this lost time was not "made up" during the day and ate into our tour time.
2) The tour guide, Luca, seemed focused solely on returning to Florence in time for his aperitivo than spending just a bit of extra time to make sure everyone on the tour (8 of us) was happy with their experience.
3) The water was rough, so we didn't get to go on the boat ride (not the tour guide's fault), but it didn't really seem like there was anything done to compensate for this - no extra time in a village, not an extra stop in Lucca, nothing.
4) Had 15 minutes in one village - which was spent entirely waiting in line for bathroom.
