Just right length of time with enough time between th e 2 tours to have a lovely lunch and to wander around . The guides were very informative and enthusiastic altogether an enjoyable dayReviewed by: susan j, March 2014
The guide Angelino was so passionate about the paintings and the statue of David. He made us really understand the renaissance period and the genius of the artists. The 2nd guide helped us to see the genius of Leonardo da Vinci showing us how to look at the paintings as they were meant to be seen from lower down looking up. We also came to understand the role of the Medici family in promoting these talented artists. This knowledge really enhanced the pleasure we had of looking at everything else Florence had to offer. Money well spent and an experience never to be forgotten.Reviewed by: H M, February 2014
This was an amazing tour! It is split into 2 parts, at 11:30am and 4:30pm. We had 2 different guides, both were brilliant in weaving historical information about Italy, culture and technique when explaining the art work at these museums.Reviewed by: DEV S, February 2014
Excellent guide ! Perhaps a little too long intro, would have been nice to have speaking on the dutch painters as well. But overall GREAT experience !Reviewed by: Tor R, February 2014
In the morning we went to the Accademia. this tour was boring and the tour guide showed little interest. We were very disappointed.
In the afternoon, we toured with Angello at the Uffizi and that was fantastic! We felt as though we were in a terrific art history class! We learned and enjoyed so much with Angello... he is great.
So Angello gets 5 stars and whomever the morning guide was gets 2 stars.
