Outstanding!!! Prior to making a reservation, I read most of the reviews about these tours, everything said was true. It is a "must see" places to visit. So much history to absorb but because of the guided tour it gave us a lot of info about the art and the artist. Both guides for both tours were highly knowledgeable and entertaining which was an added bonus. Thank you.Reviewed by: Martha O, December 2013
Well, in November there were no lines to skip, but still worth going for. Our guide at the Uffizi was a marvellous character who had us all stiffling our giggles when she told off the security guards for being too noisy. Both tours were just the right balance of information and light hearted banter. One slight niggle was the Uffizi tour started at 4:30 and didn't finish til 6:15, and on that day the Gallery closed at 6:30 giving us just 15 mins to do the remaining 80% that we hadn't seen.Reviewed by: morganicky, December 2013
Our tour guide was very knowledgable. She knows her stuff. We couldn't get enough of the history behind the artwork.Reviewed by: Ann-Marie G, November 2013
took ages to get in but when we were in it was great! the guide was really well informed and the tour waworth it for David anyway!Reviewed by: Angel H, December 2013
As much as I enjoyed having a tourguide for these places, the idea of putting the most important gallery in the city on the agenda so late in the day is a mistake. The tour didn't cover NEARLY the entire Uffizi (the place is just too big) and the place closed not more than half an hour after the tour ended. This tour would be much better by going to the Uffizi in the morning, and visiting the much smaller Accademia Gallery in the evening. Then there would have been enough time to get the most from both. I can't recommend this ordering. Otherwise, the tourguides were great at both locations, and I learned a lot.Reviewed by: Stephan R, November 2013
