This was a great - but long - day out from Rome, starting with 'on the dot' pick up at a downtown hotel at 7 am and not getting back to my rental apartment until close to 10 pm. Our guide for the day Christina, was excellent and, when we reached Naples she handed us over to the local guide, Franco, who was quite a character and extremely well informed. He kept us on a tight schedule, with only two hours at the ruins, but I'm confident he made sure we saw the high points. Lunch was OK tourist fare without being spectacular. Be sure to take a hat, sunscreen and lots of water!Reviewed by: Rachel V, April 2014

A long day, but well worth it. Once again, the tour guides made the tour enjoyable. Pompeii is a must see.Reviewed by: Luis M M, April 2014
Time in Pompeii to short no free timeReviewed by: Alvin M, April 2014
A nice trip and lunch was very good. I did not like that the tour was done in 4 languages all day. While walking around Pompeii a 5 minute story took 20 minutes and people were bored and kept walking off to explore on their own. I did not like all the standing around waiting time such as the 2 hour walk through Pompeii was in reality 30 minutes spread over 2 hours due to all of the waiting and repeating. A great trip that I wish had been in a smaller group with only 1 language spoken.Reviewed by: Rachel P, April 2014
