Absolutely amazing place. One of the top Barcelona's attractions.
Excellent tour and guide (Fernando).

Great tour! The guide was very professional, helpful and knowledgeable of the history of the Cathedral. I was concerned at the start of the tour when I realized it was through the same company as the Morocco tour, which was a total waste of time and money. I was not only pleasantly surprised, but the tour was the highlight of our time in Barcelona. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Before the tour we had walked round the outside of the Basilica but we learned so much more with our guide. Inside was an amzing treat. It was so much more enjoyable to be given explanations about the history, architecture, sculptures and windows, than just to look in an uninformed way. We were encouraged to ask questions and we learned of many additions to the Basilica during the last couple of days, including the doors, the west window and some rework on the sculptures. We appreciated the work in progress and the wonderful results so far. It was an amazing experience which far exceeeded our expectations.

I traveled to Barcelona with friends who had tried to tour La Sagrada Familia in the past, but gave up both times because of the huge queues. My family use Viatour a lot, so I booked the "skip the queue, English tour" and was not disappointed. The office was easy to find, the guide was excellent and far from boring. Going with a guide provided us with up to date information and the opportunity to ask questions, something that the regular tour with recording cannot. As part of our ticket, we took the elevator ascent of one of the towers and I would highly recommend this as an add on, and suggest that you take the stairs down, this option providing you with amazing views and random surprises from the many windows and odd Juliet balconies that you encounter on the way. Viatour offered us a simple and excellent way to see this magnificent monument, we were not disappointed.

Skip the line definitely the way to go to avoid long queues and waiting around, but also to gain the insightful knowledge of the local guide from Julia's tours. Wonderful building both externally and the wonderful, beautiful internal space. Definitely something to come back to to see how the ongoing work progresses!
