We did this tasting on our first evening in Rome. It was very low-key but fun. The wine bar where it's held is a neat little place tucked way on a side street (and we enjoyed the atmosphere so much that we went back there for wine on our own a few days later). The owner of the bar and the woman giving the class/tasting were both very friendly and knowledgeable. The wines and cheeses were delicious, as well!Reviewed by: ksnelson, July 2013
Fantastic. Great wines, cheeses and company, held in a great wine bar in the back streets of Rome.Reviewed by: Jenny D, March 2013
Ursula was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a great way to spend an hour after sightseeing all day and before dinner. There were three Italian wines (2 whites and 1 red) and small food pairings. It takes place at a great little wine bar just off Campo dei Fiori. Recommended!Reviewed by: Kimberly B, November 2012
Great experience . Our wine guide was clearly an expert in her field. As well as being very informative she was very patient and happy to be interrupted to take questions. At no time did we feel rushed and the whole experience was relaxing. Just the the ticket before going on to our meal later.Reviewed by: Dominic S, United Kingdom, January 2013
It was ok. Our host was nice and personable but did not come away with a better understanding of Italian wine in general. Also thought the wine selections we were served were average.Reviewed by: Stephen R, October 2013
