We did this tasting on our first evening in Rome. It was very low-key but fun. The wine bar where it's held is a neat little place tucked way on a side street (and we enjoyed the atmosphere so much that we went back there for wine on our own a few days later). The owner of the bar and the woman giving the class/tasting were both very friendly and knowledgeable. The wines and cheeses were delicious, as well!Reviewed by: ksnelson, July 2013
Fantastic. Great wines, cheeses and company, held in a great wine bar in the back streets of Rome.Reviewed by: Jenny D, March 2013
Wonderful guide. And the bar where it is held was recently voted one of the top bars in Rome.Totally worth it!Reviewed by: james, November 2013
Ended up being just the two of us with the guide. Very informative and the quide was great. Good wine. Apparently the Wine shop/restaurant owner does his own meal/wine tastings that I had read about so I was wishing we got to taste more of what he does with food and wine. Great location tucked away. Will definitely return.Reviewed by: Sheri S, October 2013
It was ok. Our host was nice and personable but did not come away with a better understanding of Italian wine in general. Also thought the wine selections we were served were average.Reviewed by: Stephen R, October 2013
