Fantastic scenery, wineries, and steam train (Puffing Billy). The whole tour, including lunch was not expensive. Lunch could have been better, however, it was still pretty good.
The driver was very knowledgeable and was a nice guy and very funny. We had a fun day.
The coach picked us up quite close to our hotel, but getting back to hotel in peak time traffic was slow.
Well organised and highly enjoyable. Roger, our tour guide, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the places we visited and made for a pleasant, relaxing day. Good pace and time to enjoy the sights. Loved Puffing Billy - took me back to my childhood when I last visited with my family. Great day!Reviewed by: Sharen S, November 2013
Fantastic day. We loved the variety of activities such as the train trip, wine tasting and the coach tour. A day to remember enjoying the sites of rural areas of Melbourne. Lovely!!Reviewed by: Robyn F, November 2013
this was a very relaxed day and well organised. The only thing we could fault was that, it said to wait at Federation Square but it didn't tell us that we needed to wait at the Russell St end so we were waiting at the Flinders Station end and with all the trains and trams I didn't hear my phone so we missed our bus. We were able to catch a later bus but missed the puffing billy ride. We would just like it to be made clear in the pick up details as not being local we didn't know all bus trips left at the other end. But it was still a great day out and very informative with very entertaining drivers. Very happy to help in anyway.
Would definitely go again or recommend it to my friends, (with instructions to wait at the correct end).
Perhaps the literature needs to be changed.Reviewed by: Narelle P, January 2014
