Excellent. Muir woods was stunning and the ride up there an experience in itself. We left the tour in Sausalito and came back via the blue and gold ferry which gave us more time for a quiet lunch and to explore the town.Reviewed by: Malcolm Mcneil M, December 2013
Very pleasantly organised trip, informative tour guide and coach driver. Would have been nice to spend more time in the Woods, rather than just an hour and a bit. I could have easily forfeited the Sausalito part of the trip as it was not the main attraction for me, but it did give us the chance to grab a bite to eat.Reviewed by: Babar V, December 2013
I enjoyed our trip to the Muir Woods. Our driver was great and had many stories and information that I had not hear before.
My only wish was that we could have had more time walking in the woods. It was a beautiful sunny day and I wanted to be outside more. If it had been raining I might not have felt the same.
Thanks to the driver for his hospitality and good humor.
I thought the guide was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed learning about the history of the area, however the walk was a little disappointing. There were no park ranges to tell you about the natural history and too many people. Hopefully some of this funding going back into conserving more of the Redwoods, not just tourism. Also there could of been more cheaper places to eat in Sausalito.Reviewed by: Hayley W, December 2013
The driver/guide was fantastic. My main complaint is that we had to wait a half hour after returning to the tour office for our ride back to the hotel. The time at each location is not quite long enough, but we couldn't have gotten to Muir Woods otherwise. So kind of a mixed bag. Both Muir and Sausalito are well worth a visit.Reviewed by: Raymond E, December 2013
