We did this tour in may and were lucky enough to have a clear morning and see mt Fuji clearly! Great morning to mt Fuji. The lunch was just ok, nothing exceptional. The 15minute cruise was nice. the cable car ride at the very end was a complete waste of time as there was so much cloud we could see absolutely nothing, I don't know why we didn't just skip it and head back earlier. It was a very long day by the time we got back. There is alot,of bus travel time on this tour. Our guide was friendly however his English was not great which at times made it difficult to understand info and directions etcReviewed by: Bryley S, May 2013
This tour is worth it. The saddest part though is that it was raining on the day we took this one so we didn't get to see Mt. Fuji at all, and didn't really get to enjoy Lake Ashi and the cable car ride. Check the weather before you go! I also didn't have lunch and saved money by bringing my own.Reviewed by: Patricia A, May 2013
We had a full bus. It would have been better if the two military fellas behind us didnt talk non-stop so we couldnt hear the guide that well. We were lucky to catch the cherry blossom in full bloom. In all, It was a great trip. Returning on the bullet train was an experience. The guide made sure we were standing in front of our car and made sure everyone got a seat. It was an open seating ticket. Right before we arrived at station, she walked up and down to let us know. I had an enjoyable trip even though there were snow up in elevation 5 and cold.Reviewed by: Shirley E, April 2013
Interesting tour. Of course due to the fact it is only a day trip you spend relativerly much
time in the coach. Perfect pick-up service from the hotel. Unfortunately no drop-off
service. English of the guide was very bad (one away i.s.o. one way and many more
so that misunderstanding was evident. Explanation for going home to your hotel could be better too (can be avoided by good drop-soff service). Lunch so so and not worth the money paid.
Hotel pick up was very convenient, and our guide was very helpful. But the tour itself was kinda boring.Reviewed by: Lorraine C, April 2013
