5 star rating: Highly Recommended

This card is a brilliant investment and time saver if you truly wish to take in the sights of Sydney whether by train, bus or ferry. It was really convenient and saved having to think about budgeting for daily extra costs. I have used similar cards in New York and this is a brilliant concept. Thanks.

The card was great until midday when they told us our card wasn't valid anymore. I'm not sure what the problem was but it was great until it stopped working.

Liked the overall idea. Have used these types of cards to great success in London and Paris. Unfortunately, you can't receive the actual card in advance like those cards. Therefore, if you have to wait until 9:30AM or so until you can pick it up at one of the available spots. This made us have to buy ferry tickets due to our desire to go out to the Fish Market around 8AM. We also thought we would be able to use the code to enter the Maritime Museum without getting the card but that turned out to not be true. We ended up spending some extra time finding the nearest location to get the card and then walking back to the museum. After those trip up's we enjoyed the card and used it a bunch for ferry's and museums and such.

I was quite disappointed that the booklet we received when we picked up our ticket from Darling Harbour was not up to date regarding the attractions included in the ticket. We found that there were some alterations, such as the bus tours of Sydney, and others that were no longer available when we tried to book them. It was only near the end of the week that I picked up a leaflet which indicated that there were other attractions available on the ticket. On the whole the pass was reasonable value but the 'free' gift we received when we did the Bridge climb was the cap which everyone who did the climb received.

2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better

We were in Sydney for 5 days and thought the 3 day pass would be good. The opening and closing times really restrict your day, and we went over to see the imax movie within the time specified and they were not showing within the time we went. I think we would have paid the same, no savings at all.
